My name is Chad Grimshaw and I’m the founder of Southern Dry Carpet Cleaning. We’re a locally-owned and family-operated carpet cleaning business dedicated to providing the highest quality service experience to each of our valued customers.
After working in the environmental engineering field for 10 years, I decided to take the plunge into being a small business owner with a strong desire to attack the pervasive problem of indoor air pollution in residential and commercial settings. Why carpet cleaning, you may ask? Although typically cozy under your feet, carpet serves as the ideal breeding ground for unwanted visitors, such as mold, mildew and bacteria. If that’s not enough, carpet also attracts dirt, allergens, cooking odors and other foreign particles that the best of vacuums cannot remove. Clearly, the need for carpet cleaning is real, but, more importantly, how should carpets be cleaned? Is there a drier, gentler, and safer alternative that achieves comparable or, even, superior results to the traditional use of hot water, high water pressure, and high alkaline detergent?
